Booking.com?

Hello,

On your website it says, "The most important metric on every hotel website is conversion. With booking.com sending highly qualified traffic to your site, you can't afford to redirect your users to a third-party website to book your rooms."

Can you please explain? The main reason I did not renew subscription is I need channel manager for booking.com. We are currently using beds24 but it is quite limited for packaging specials etc. but we need the channel manager for booking.com and airbnb.

Hello Nancy,

We have changed the sentence to make it more clear. You can read now "Daily, hundreds of highly qualified users visit your website after discovering your hotel at Booking.com."

About channel managers:
We are going to have channel manager integration before the end of May 2017. We have an agreement with Vertical Booking and Wubook, and still waiting for an agreement with SiteMinder.

We are also studying the possibility of developing our own connection to booking.com, but I couldn't tell you if it will be occurring or when it will be available. If we succeed with booking.com connection, other OTAs would come later.

Hope this helps you to consider switching back to CloudHotelier again ;)

Hello Xavier,

Thank you for the information. If I understand correctly, CloudHotelier will not actually have a channel manager but allow connectivity through third party channel managers? We just left SiteMinder in November after a year because of lack of options for packaging and a few other issues including high price. We now use Beds24 and find it works quite well. Is it possible to use Beds24 and still be able to use the functions of CloudHotelier? I am sorry for the questions, just very confused about what exactly is being offered.

Yes, it would be possible to use Beds24, we are open to any integrations at this moment. You would need to talk to Beds24 about the integration with CloudHotelier. You can give them my contact so we can speak directly xpallicer[at]cloudhotelier.com.

How does CloudHotelier rich booking features integrate to a standard Channel Manager connection: by synchronizing "only master rates" and availability, as all the other rates should be "calculated" rates.

Of course, this allows you to "trick" booking.com and other OTAs, as you can offer better service and pricing through your site, under special conditions.
