Yes, it is desirable to create 1 for each language.
In our theme-packs there's only one menu item for easy set-up.
The system is smart enough to detect which menu item should be used, just remember to set the menu item language.

So I should create in the English main menu a Engine menu, language only english, linked to "Search Module - En", language only English, assigned to ? what option should I use ?

Hello there,
We recommend that you create 2 menus items in the "System" menu, setting different language on each one.
You don't need to create 2 search modules, as the new version has an "intelligent" router that will automatically detect the correct menu item to point the search.
