Please take a look at the Admin Panel configuration settings, you first need to sing up at OpenExchangeRates to get your App Id.

Then you will need to set up a cron task in order to keep the exchange rates updated. If you have upgraded to v1.5.0 or later you will see a Cron view when creating a new joomla menu item. It's recommended to hit that cron view every few hours so your exchange rates get updated.
