Joomla 3.8.4 has come with some flaws , as you can see in [this post] (https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/19497).

From CloudHotelier we recommend you to not update your websites to this new version, if you have already done so, then you should perform a downgrade to avoid problems.

To do so, download Joomla! version 3.8.3 [here] (https://downloads.joomla.org/cms/joomla3/3-8-3/Joomla_3-8-3-Stable-Full_Package.zip?format=zip). And upload it to Components -> Joomla! Update.
