Promos and rooms page by the admin panel

If I setup promos and rooms page by the admin panel, what’s happening after my 3 months subscription? Don’t tell me I lose the web site page!

Hello there,

If you cancel your subscription your website will continue to work! The only problem is that you won't be able to use the admin panel to update your site, so you will need to replace the rooms and promos views with a custom page.

In the next days, probably next week, we are going to release a JKit update that will allow you to develop the same layouts. This means that you will be able to replace this views with ease. The update will have a new view type "items", with 3 new layouts:

Stay tuned next week for the update!

Hello,

Is it possible that you didn't upgrade the discussed futures about the page layout in 1.7 version of template?

In the last version of JKIT, you could choose different layout as you stated but unfortunately they are not working. The message I got is the following:

Fatal error: Class 'JKitHelper' not found in D:\inetpub\webs\tirrenohotelit\new\components\com_jkit\views\item\tmpl\page.php on line 11

With all the layout I got this message. Why?

Hello Michele,

Please note that Microsoft IIS server is not supported by CloudHotelier. Although you can run Joomla on IIS, we only support LAMP stack.

I'm sorry if we/you haven't noticed before. But, if you are not on Linux we can no longer provide support, as our products are not designed to run on your current server configuration.

I guess we will need to place some warnings at some point, maybe in our website or maybe during installation, but LAMP stack is the current standard for PHP CMS that we didn't imagine someone is running our products on Microsoft IIS Nowadays.

Hello Xavier,
Sorry for my late reply but I was out of my office.
I switched to linux server as you required but the problem is exactly the same. My question is: you already implemented the possibility to choice for every "items", the 3 new layouts

Classic grid (rooms)
Dynamic grid (promos)
Multi item

???

Hello Michele,

Milti-item is already implemented as a theme layout for blog view.

We are still developing the grid layots for JKit items.

Please note you always need to select a category for jkit multiple items views.

I will keep you informed about the progress, I can't tell you an exact date as we are full time developing Channel Manager integration.

Kindest Regards
