Thank you for your interest in CloudHotelier.

CloudHotelier is open source software and you can fully host it on your server. All our downloads are extensions for the latest version of Joomla, currently v3.6.

The app you can see at https://panel.cloudhotelier.com/ is called HRS Manager, you can download it and install on your site.

You are free to decide if you want to host HRS Manager on your server or use our Cloud version. If you choose to use our cloud version you'll get extra services, like a secure card form (for card data collection) and channel manager integration (to be available in few weeks).

I think you don't need me to explain the advantages and disadvantages of self-hosted version.

Thanks a lot for you clarification.
Well we would like to host HRS on our server. However we would be using offline payment mode; that is collecting Credit Card details because in our country its hard to use online payment service... On that case how will we do that?

Its cool that you are using uikit.. Do you have plan to upgrade to uikit 3 as well?

All I can say is that chclient provides a built-in card form method, but, unless you can provide enough security to collect card details on your own, I recommend that you stick with our cloud version.

Please note that "enough security" doesn't mean only https, you should have a private server, user access logs, anti-virus and server monitoring, etc.

About UIKit 3, it is still in beta (I would say alpha) and there are lots of things still missing compared to version 2. We are going o take a deeper look when they release datepicker and slider.

Collecting Card information is like half a card number on a database (backend) and half at email, thats how we are doing with our current system. We delete it from tje backend once we copy. Can we build something like that... ?

Well using UIKIT 3, you are right, it seems still long way from completion, but we have started building a site on yootheme pro thats UIKIT 3. However i feel that won't be problem using your system...

Cloudhotelier seems cool compared to any other Joomla based hotel component in terms of UI as well as backend. So we are really willing to subscribe your Partner plan at some point.

For now we want to subscribe a Pro Plan and try your system.

Hello Kunjan,

As I said before, HRS client has built-in support for card collection, but you might need to resolve if you want to do it on your site or not.

You must observe PCI security not only for storing, but also for collecting and transferring cc details. Because if your site gets hacked, card details could be stolen silently while users submit their reservations.
